After interview thank you letter giving additional information

Dear Jonathan,

This is just a quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed our interview today, and that it has increased my desire to come to work at your company. In fact, all of the people I met over the course of interviews were truly inspirational and I hope to be able to join this select group.

While thinking over our conversation about my experience in project appraisal, it occurred to me that we never touched on my role in managing two significant transactions for my current employer. Not only did these include project appraisal in its narrowest sense, but as part of these transactions I also completed a detailed implementation plan involving colleagues from operations, IT, sales, marketing and finance. In fact, these plans are now being used to drive performance in these two acquisitions with very little modification.
